A Brave New World

You took a tiny step today.  A tiny step towards new independence.  You quickly realized that you were unaided and let yourself collapse to the floor.  But, for a brief moment, you took a fearless step in the world and I couldn't be more proud of you.  I can't believe, I literally don't believe, how much you are growing and developing.  Slow down, take it easy.  I know it's selfish, but try to let me enjoy you as a tiny baby every now and then.  I enjoy it very much!
